The Counseling Coordinator provides family and group counseling for Alley’s House Family Tree program. We are looking for a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist to provide counseling and administration as part of a joint partnership between Alley’s House and Agape Clinic. The therapist will be paid on a reimbursement schedule for counseling with an anticipated minimum of 10 hours a week with room for growth based on caseload. Resource Room Interns, work directly with teen mothers and their children while studying for the GED and lead individual, group, family, and filial therapy and workshop facilitation. Interns must be culturally competent and experienced in working with diverse populations with a minimum of one year experience working with at-risk youth and are either a master’s level practicum student or LPC-Intern. Interns must commit to a minimum of 14 hours a week (9 am – 4 pm two days a week) for at least 24 week commitment, unpaid internship with the opportunity to receive LPC-Intern supervision. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.

Community Outreach Interns facilitate Alley’s House workshops with our community partners at locations across Dallas and Denton county. Interns work directly with teen mothers and lead workshops on topics ranging from health and wellness to financial literacy. Interns must commit to a minimum of one school semester and hours are on average, 5-8 a week, including opportunities for evening and weekends.
